With reference to the letter from

this Department of the 19th October last, I

am directed by Mr. Secretary Long to transmit

to you, to be laid before the Shipping

Controller copy of a telegram from the

Governor-Generad of Hong Kong with regard to

the requisitioning of vessels engaged in

the China trade.
